Frequently Asked Questions
My goal is to make taking photographs fun. I want us to laugh, play, and have a fun time. I don't want you to worry too much about the details. A good photograph is the location, clothes, and smiles, but a great photograph is the interactions, the love, and giggles, at least that what is is to me.

What should I wear?
What you wear is up to you. I'd like you to wear whats comfortable, easy to move in, and symbolizes who your family is. Does your family dress the same? Most likely not. I recommend Mom choosing her favorite outfit and then the rest of the family "coordinating" around her. If Mom is wearing her favorite floral summer dress, everyone each picks one article of clothing that has one of the colors from her dress. Logos, the solid color white or black, and overly busy prints are difficult to photograph, but can be done. I've had families all wear their favorite team jersey. It was fun and showed off thier individual personalities.

Do I get all my photos?
You will get all your "good" photos. Remember that Beyonce photo that surfaced on the internet that was less than flattering. In my camera, those all get deleted to never be seen again. I will deliver to you the most flattering, fully edited photos from your session.

Do you photograph weddings?
Weddings are a very specialized skill and it's one that I have not practiced enough to feel confident. I recommend a wonderful local photographer for any wedding needs. Check them out here. Unplugged Images

What times are your sessions?
The best times to photgraph are and hour after sunrise and an hour before sunset, but I will find the best lighting any time of day. I'm not a morning person, so if you want the hour after sunrise time, it's best to choose a time of year where sunrise is late.

Do you print my photos for me?
I can print your photos for you at an additional fee, but I've found that most people want the digital files now days. I personally hardly ever print the photos I take, I make a family memory yearbook that is 100's of pages with all our family photos from the year. I use all digital images for my books. If printing is a service you would like, let me know.
That being said, if you are giving a photo as a gift or hanging it on the wall, I recommend my professional printing services directly from the web site. I have printed photos from inexpensive services like Sam's Club to hang on the wall and there really is no comparison. The colors are more vibrant, and correct, the paper is better, the photo overall looks so much better on a profesional print.

Do you travel outside of the Temecula Valley?
I prefer not to travel outside of the valley. My fees include travel within a 20 mile radius. I can recommend other photographers who photograph in beach areas if you would like. If you absolutely would like a shoot up to an hour away, and I can schedule it, the travel fee is $2 per mile outside of the valley, additional added to the session fee. As you can see, I don't want to, nor do I generally have the time to travel outside of the Valley.
